Receiving 59 citizens at Tan Nam International Border Gate

Tay Ninh - At Tan Nam International Border Gate, functional forces received 59 citizens returned by Cambodia.

On January 30, the Criminal Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security; Police of 23 provinces and cities, professional departments of the Provincial Police and Tan Nam International Border Gate Border Guard Station to complete the reception and working process for citizens returned by Cambodia, then handed them over to the local police.

Previously, on January 29, at Tan Nam International Border Gate, functional forces received 59 citizens (including 42 men and 17 women) returned by Cambodia.

Through verification, the above citizens confessed that they searched for jobs through social networks, then legally or illegally exited Cambodia to Phnom Penh, Bavet to work as waitresses and hostesses at karaoke business establishments, eateries in night markets, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets,...

Some subjects go to Cambodia to work as sales (electronic games in casinos, romance applications, stock investment) for fraudulent companies.

Through investigation, functional forces discovered a case under the pursuit of Ha Tinh Provincial Police; there were 27 cases of citizens illegally leaving the country. Tan Nam International Border Gate Border Guard Station issued a decision to administratively sanction 23 citizens for the act of crossing the national border without carrying out exit procedures according to the provisions of law.
