Previously, yesterday (July 25), at around 2:45 p.m. on July 25, Rescue Team 116 and the Ha Long Flight crew found the body of a woman about 50 years old drifting in Ha Long Bay.
After reaching the location where the body was discovered in Cua Dua area, the authorities of Quang Ninh province deployed measures to salvage and bring the body to shore to verify the victim's identity.
After verification, DNA testing confirmed that the female body was victim Hoang Thi Quyen (born in 1975) - one of the last two victims missing in Ha Long Bay in the capsize of the tourist boat Vinh Xanh 58, license plate QN-7105 on the afternoon of July 19.
Up to now, out of a total of 49 people on the Green Bay 58 ship that had an accident on the afternoon of July 19, the authorities have rescued 10 people, found 38 bodies and handed them over to their families.
The search for the victim was eventually continued by the authorities.
