On September 2nd, Mr. Hoang Viet Lam - Chairman of Dinh Van Lam Ha Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong) - confirmed that the locality is mobilizing forces to coordinate with Phu Son Lam Ha commune and Fire and Rescue Team Area 17, Lam Dong Police, focusing on searching for missing victims in the Mang bridge area on the Da Dang River.
The victim is N.N.B. H (born 2009) - a high school student in Dinh Van Lam Ha commune.
Previously, at about 7 pm on September 1, people discovered a motorbike and a pair of white sandals in the Mang bridge area, Tan Lin village, Dinh Van Lam Ha commune.
After receiving the report, Dinh Van Lam Ha Commune Police extracted camera footage and determined that the female student fell from the Mang bridge area into the Da Dang River.
Functional forces are also working with the family to verify the victim's identity.
Immediately after that, the People's Committee of Dinh Van Lam Ha commune mobilized forces to coordinate with the People's Committee of Phu Son Lam Ha commune and the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 17 to deploy search and rescue work.
However, due to the Da Dang river water rising and flowing fast, the search work encountered many difficulties.
By 10:00 AM on September 2nd, the forces were still expanding the search scope for victims but there were no results yet.
