Binh Duong - On May 11, Binh Duong Provincial Police are still searching for the driver of a scooter suspected of being swept away by water under the Cai stream project.

The incident occurred in the construction area of the Cai stream dredging and reinforcement project (Phu Chanh ward, Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong).

According to initial information, on May 10, heavy and prolonged rain caused water levels to rise in many areas in Binh Duong.

At around 8:00 a.m. the same day, Mr. V.V.P (36 years old, permanent resident of Long An, the driver of the excavator) went to the construction site to check the excavator.

However, by noon of the same day, his colleagues did not see Mr. P return, so they went to look for him. When arriving at the construction site, they saw Mr. P's motorbike parked on the bank of the canal, but could not find Mr. P anywhere.

Suspecting that Mr. P was swept away by the water, everyone reported it to the authorities for searching.
