Ho Chi Minh City - Di An Ward People's Committee issued a notice to find relatives for a newborn baby abandoned at a hospital in the area.

On February 5th, Di An Ward People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh City issued a notice to find relatives for the abandoned newborn baby.

According to Di An Ward People's Committee, at about 10:30 am on January 30, the ward received a document from Military Hospital 4 about a newborn baby being abandoned at the hospital.

The abandoned infant is a baby boy, born on January 20, 2026, weighing 3.1 kg, healthy, wrapped in a blue scarf, wearing a white hat with a blue border, a red nylon bag containing 5 milk towels and 2 large towels.

The baby's mother, pregnant woman D.T. N (born in 1997), is currently unreachable.

Di An Ward People's Committee said that the baby is currently assigned to a family for temporary care to wait for competent authorities to carry out procedures according to legal regulations.

Di An Ward People's Committee informs parents and relatives of the above-mentioned children to contact the Ward People's Committee to receive the children.

Within 7 consecutive days from the date of issuance of the notice, if there is no information about the child's biological parents or the child's biological parents do not come to receive them, Di An Ward People's Committee will notify individuals or organizations temporarily raising children to carry out birth registration for the child according to regulations.
