Vinh Linh Regional General Hospital (Quang Tri province) is taking care of an abandoned newborn baby girl who was discovered by locals and taken to the hospital for examination and care.
Previously, on the morning of September 24, while gardening, Ms. Hoang Thi Gai in Huong Bac village (Cua Tung commune, Quang Tri province) discovered a newborn baby girl abandoned in the garden of her house next door.
At the scene, next to the child was a bottle of milk and a bucket of fresh milk left.
Mrs. Gai took the child home for temporary care, then reported it to the local authorities and took him to Vinh Linh Regional General Hospital.
According to the hospital's leaders, the girl's health is stable. Currently, a volunteer is staying at the hospital to support care. The unit has also contacted the authorities to carry out procedures to find relatives for the child according to regulations.
