On August 4, the Team for Repatriating Martyrs' Remains (Ho Chi Minh City Command) continued to expand the search scope at the tomb groove of Zone B, Le Thi Rieng Park. As a result, during the day, functional forces discovered and exhumed 15 more sets of martyrs' remains. These sets of remains include 11 individual sets, 2 collective grave locations (including 4 sets of remains) and 9 sets of artifacts attached.
As of the end of August 4, the entire force had collected a total of 197 sets of martyrs' remains at Le Thi Rieng Park. Of which, 171 sets were found in separate form and 26 sets belonged to 6 collective grave locations (including 2 locations in Zone A and 4 locations in Zone B).

The excavated area currently belongs to the hill area that was accreted during the park renovation process in the past, so the volume of soil to be treated is very large. To speed up the progress of approaching suspicious areas, the Ho Chi Minh City Command continues to maintain 03 excavators and 01 transport truck, organizing continuous construction.
In today alone, more than 200m3 of soil in the tomb groove of Zone B has been discharged and relocated. Units are closely monitoring the scene, determined to maximize the excavation scope to avoid missing clues and soon complete the relocation task.
