On February 25, 2 pieces of information from Bac Ninh Provincial Police said that at 4:15 pm on February 23, the Fire and Rescue Police Department - Provincial Police, received a report of a drowning incident at Dap Lau in Hoa Muc residential group, Phuong Son ward.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department mobilized forces and specialized vehicles of the Luc Ngan area Fire and Rescue Police Team, quickly approached the scene, coordinated with local authorities, Phuong Son Ward Police, civil defense forces and people to organize search and rescue.
The area where the incident occurred has deep water terrain, many rocks, and underground trees, causing difficulties for search and rescue work.
However, with a spirit of urgency and high responsibility, the forces have synchronously deployed professional measures to organize search and rescue.
By 5:15 pm on the same day, functional forces and people had found 2 drowning victims. Through initial verification, the 2 victims were identified as P.T. B (1991) and D.C.H (2017).
After completing the procedures according to regulations, the Fire and Rescue Police Department handed over the victims' bodies to their families and local authorities for burial according to local customs.
Through the above incident, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Bac Ninh Province recommends that people raise awareness of preventing drowning accidents; proactively equip themselves with knowledge and skills to prevent and combat drowning.
