On the morning of June 2, the body of P.S.T (born in 2008, residing in Song Luy commune) - missing on the afternoon of May 31 under Song Luy, belonging to Song Luy commune, Lam Dong province - was found.
The location where the body was found is about 1km from where T. encountered the accident. After that, the body was brought ashore and functional agencies carried out procedures to hand over the body to the family to take it home for funeral arrangements.
As Lao Dong newspaper reported, in the afternoon of May 31, T and 2 friends came to Ben Thuong area, Hoa Binh village, Song Luy commune to play and swim in the river.
At about 4 pm on the same day, 2 friends went ashore first, while T continued to stay in the river. Suddenly, T unfortunately encountered an accident and was swept away by the water and went missing.
Song Luy Commune Police coordinated with local forces and people to quickly arrive at the scene to deploy search and rescue operations.
The Fire and Rescue Team and charity teams used water motorbikes to expand the search area along the area where the incident occurred. On the morning of June 2, the body was found.
