On the afternoon of May 2nd, Kim Long Commune People's Committee (HCMC) said that after more than a day of mobilizing nearly 100 people to try to search, functional forces found the body of a man in an orange sports uniform at Da Den Lake.
The victim was found at about 12:20 pm on May 2, near the area reported missing. Currently, functional agencies; the Korean Consulate are coordinating to continue verifying and clarifying the incident," said Mr. Do Chi Khoi - Chairman of Kim Long Commune People's Committee.
As Lao Dong newspaper reported, on May 1, Mr. K.H.S (65 years old, Korean nationality) and a friend came to paddle a sup on the Da Den Lake area. The two people drove a car to park by the lake, then paddled to the opposite area to visit and take pictures together.
On the way back to the starting point, Mr. K.H.S's friend rowed first, but when he traveled a distance and turned back to look, he did not see Mr. S. Therefore, this person quickly reported to the authorities.
Upon receiving the information, local authorities mobilized nearly 100 people from many forces to organize the search for the victim.
