On August 7, Bao Ha Commune Police issued an urgent notice about the serious landslide situation on provincial road 161.
Accordingly, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, a serious landslide occurred on the section passing through Lien Ha 1 village (Vat Dau area).
About 30 m of road surface subsided into the negative slope on the bank of the Red River, making it impossible for all vehicles to pass through this area.
Faced with the above developments, Bao Ha Commune Police requested people to absolutely not move through the landslide road section to ensure safety; proactively choose alternative routes and notify relatives and friends to avoid going into dangerous areas.

At the same time, people need to comply with the instructions of functional forces, not gather or be curious at the scene to avoid possible risks.
According to functional forces, in the context of continuing rain, the risk of landslides in this area and other key locations is still high.
People are advised to regularly monitor the announcements of local authorities and functional agencies to proactively prevent and ensure safety for people and property.
