Nationwide, 294 fires occurred in November 2024

According to the Ministry of Public Security, there were 294 fires nationwide, killing 6 people, injuring 14 people, and causing estimated property damage of 86.23 billion VND in November 2024.

The Ministry of Public Security has just announced (preliminary) data on traffic accidents, fires, explosions and administrative handling of traffic order and safety in November 2024 (from October 15, 2024 to November 14, 2024).

According to the report, there were 1,980 traffic accidents nationwide, killing 965 people and injuring 1,418 people. Compared to October 2024, there were 104 more accidents; 11 more deaths; and 122 more injuries.

Regarding administrative handling of traffic order and safety, nationwide, there were 403,105 cases of traffic order and safety violations handled; 681.83 billion VND in fines; 133,894 cars, motorbikes and scooters were temporarily detained. Compared to October 2024, there was an increase of 20,144 cases, the amount of fines collected increased by 21 billion VND, and the number of cars, motorbikes and scooters temporarily detained decreased by 883.

Also during the same period, the Ministry of Public Security said that 294 fires occurred nationwide, killing 6 people, injuring 14 people, and causing preliminary property damage of VND86.23 billion. Compared to October 2024, there were 12 more fires, 2 more deaths, 6 more injuries, and a preliminary property damage estimate of VND64 billion less.
