On the evening of November 2, floods on rivers in Hue City are rising rapidly, many places are approaching alert level 3.

At 7:00 p.m. on November 2, the water level measured at some stations was as follows: Huong River at Kim Long reached 3.49m (under alert level 3: 0.01m); Bo River at Phuoc reached 4.25m (under alert level 3: 0.25m); O Lau River at Phong Binh reached 2.17m; Truoi River at Truoi reached 2.18m; Ta Trach River at Thuong Nhat reached 59.84m (over alert level 1: 0.84m).

It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, floods on the Huong and Bo rivers will continue to rise rapidly, possibly exceeding alert level 3 (0.4 - 0.6m lower than the recent major flood peak). The Ta Trach River is approaching alert level 2, the O Lau River and the Truoi River fluctuate at high levels. Flood disaster risk warning level: Level 2-3.

Floods can cause widespread flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas; there is a risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, affecting traffic works, agriculture and people's lives. People are advised not to go through culverts, spillways, or areas with fast-flowing water to ensure safety.
