HCMC - The HCMC Party Committee requires Party committees at all levels not to organize art performances or receive flowers to congratulate the Party Congress to practice thrift and avoid waste.

On August 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee issued an urgent dispatch to the Standing Committees of the Party Committees of wards, communes, Con Dao special zone and the Party Committees directly under the City Party Committee on practicing thrift and avoiding waste in organizing the Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.

According to the document, in order to ensure the organization of the congress solemnly, practically, safely, avoiding ostentation and waste, especially in the context that the whole country is focusing on overcoming the consequences of floods in Dien Bien province and responding to landslides and flash floods in the mountainous and midland provinces of the North, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee requires units to strictly implement two contents.

Do not organize art programs to celebrate the festival.

Do not accept congress congratulatory flowers from agencies, units, or individuals sent as gifts; only arrange flowers to congratulate the Congress of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested that the Party Committees at all levels under the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee urgently and seriously implement the above direction.
