According to Lao Dong on Chu Van An Street, the rain lasted for more than 1 hour, causing flooding in this area. Heavy rain accompanied by flooding made it difficult for vehicles to move.

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, satellite cloud images, weather radar images and lightning positioning show that the thunderstorm area is developing and causing rain with thunderstorms and lightning in the entire communes of Dat Do, An Thoi Dong, Binh Khanh, Binh Chanh, Hung Long, Tan Nhut, Binh Loi... The cloud area is moving in the Northwest direction to the Southeast.

In the period from now until the next 3 hours, thunderstorms will continue to develop, causing showers accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in the areas of Binh Duong, Tan Hiep, Tan Khanh wards, Hiep Binh, Tam Binh, Thu Duc wards, Linh Xuan, Long Binh, Tang Nhon Phu, Phuoc Long, Long Phuoc, Long Truong, An Khanh, Binh Trung, Cat Lai.... and spreading to other neighboring neighboring neighborhoods, groups, hamlets, and villages in the ward/commune....

Rainfall is generally from 10-20 mm, in some places over 25 mm. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, lightning, hail, strong gusts of wind of level 5-8 (8-21 m/s) that break trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure, endanger human life, heavy rain causing local flooding in low-lying areas.
