Ho Chi Minh City guides health insurance transfer at 25 regional health centers to terminate operations
From January 1, 2026, 25 regional health centers in Ho Chi Minh City without hospital beds will cease operations. In the transitional period after the merger, commune, ward, and special zone health stations continue to perform the task of medical examination and treatment under health insurance (HI), managing and treating patients regularly and continuously, including cases of chronic diseases and diseases requiring long-term treatment.
To ensure the rights of health insurance participants, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance has deployed a review and converted the initial place of registration for medical examination and treatment for previous health insurance cards registered at some regional health centers. See more...
Ho Chi Minh City recruits more than 1,400 teachers
The Department of Education and Training (GDDT) of Ho Chi Minh City has just announced the receipt of additional recruitment aspiration registrations for candidates who have not passed the first phase of civil servant recruitment, academic year 2025-2026, in order to meet the needs arising at public non-business units in the city.
According to the Department, the subjects eligible for supplementary registration are those who did not pass the recruitment exam in the first phase of the civil servant recruitment exam, school year 2025-2026 but had a second round exam score of 50 points or higher, and were not subject to the cancellation of the admission results according to the decisions of the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City. Tet passenger cars run out of tickets, buses outside the station increase prices
According to Mr. Do Diep Gia Hop - Deputy Head of the Department of Maintenance and Operation of Transport Works (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction), during the 2026 Lunar New Year, fixed-route passenger bus ticket prices are allowed to increase from 40 - 60% depending on the area and time to compensate for empty buses running in the opposite direction.
Transport businesses must declare ticket prices, send them to functional agencies and publicly announce them at both ends of the station. Fire at 4 houses in Ho Chi Minh City
On January 26, functional forces of Binh Dong ward were still coordinating with professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police to blockade and examine the scene to investigate the cause of the fire in the area.
