The Department of Education and Training (GDDT) of Ho Chi Minh City has just announced the receipt of additional recruitment aspiration registrations for candidates who have not passed the first phase of civil servant recruitment, academic year 2025-2026, in order to meet the needs arising at public non-business units in the city.
According to the Department, the subjects eligible for supplementary registration are those who failed to be admitted in the first phase of civil servant recruitment, academic year 2025-2026 but had a second round exam score of 50 points or higher, and are not eligible for the cancellation of the admission results according to the decisions of the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.
The consideration and recognition of supplementary admission results is carried out according to the principle of taking the total score of round 2 plus priority points (if any), considering from high to low within the recruitment quota of each job position, each unit.
In case many candidates have the same total score in the final quota, those with higher round 2 exam scores will be prioritized. If it is still undetermined, the head of the recruiting authority will decide.
The deadline for submitting supplementary application forms is before 5:00 PM on February 9, 2026. In case candidates do not register on time or do not follow the instructions, the admission results will not be recognized.
For those who do not need to consider recognizing supplementary admission results, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training proposes to carry out procedures to request the cancellation of recruitment results according to the prescribed form and send applications according to the instructions.
In the recent recruitment round, there were more than 10,000 candidates registered for the exam, and as a result, the city recruited 3,908 teachers.
