The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document directing departments, branches and localities to deploy the work of serving the fireworks display to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) at Bach Dang Wharf.
Notably, the city recommends that agencies, businesses and households within a 2 km radius of the fireworks display proactively open glass doors during the days of live-fire to avoid damage caused by shock waves.

According to the proposal of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, opening glass doors is a necessary measure to ensure the safety of people's and organizations' assets in the affected area when the 96th Artillery Brigade conducts fireworks on the days of preliminary approval, general approval and performing official duties on April 30.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also requires organizations and individuals not to use large-capacity sounds and lights to shine into the area of the artillery battlefield at Bach Dang Wharf during the time the 96 Artillery Brigade is performing its duties.
The city also proposed to minimize loud noises that affect the training, gathering, preliminary and final approval activities and the implementation of official duties of the artillery force.

In particular, the city requires no art performances or any events within the scope of the fireworks display from 10:00 p.m. on April 6 to 10:00 p.m. on April 30 to ensure security and order for fireworks displays.
Regarding the preparation work, the Departments of Transport, Public Security and Culture - Sports were assigned the task of removing the median strip and decorative signs on Ton Duc Thang Street, from the front of RuNam store to the left edge of Majestic Hotel, to serve the parade and parade activities.
Previously, on the night of April 6, 15 trucks towing artillery guns from Brigade 96 (Artillery Corps) in Long Thanh District (Dong Nai) to Ho Chi Minh City. Each artillery piece weighs about 4 tons.
Currently, the area where the artillery was launched has been fenced off and strictly controlled by the authorities, ensuring absolute security for final preparations.
After the mao boats were installed, the Bach Dang wharf area attracted a large number of people and tourists to visit, admire and watch the soldiers practice.
According to the official plan, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day will take place on the morning of April 30 with large-scale parades and parades, expected to have about 13,000 participants.
The special highlight was the firing of 21 cannons on the background of the Vietnamese National Anthem, along with the participation of the air force with helicopters, Yak-130, Su-30MK2 flying to celebrate.
