In early April 2025, many streets and central areas of Ho Chi Minh City were brightly decorated with national flags. Joining the joyful atmosphere of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the city's youth quickly "catched the trend", poured into Dinh Thong Nhat, the central streets of District 1, cafes, and alleys decorated with red flags with yellow stars to record memorable moments and spread patriotism.

"Yesterday, I took the opportunity to visit Thong Nhat Palace and saw a lot of young people coming to take photos with the national flag, everyone was excited. Along Le Duan Street and the central streets of District 1 are also brilliant with flags and flowers, looking very solemnly and meaningfully. I also took the opportunity to take a few photos to join in the atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, feeling very proud to be Vietnamese! ", Mr. Phu Tuan (residing in Go Vap District) shared.

A coffee shop on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (District 3) has become a check-in spot for many young people when decorating the space with small flag strings interspersed with large flags and maps of Vietnam.
From early morning, Ms. Pham Nga (Binh Duong) and her husband did not hesitate to travel long distances, running nearly 30 km to Ho Chi Minh City to "hunt" for photos in an alley on the wall painted with red flags with yellow stars.

"Seeing many young people taking photos at coffee shops with flags and maps of the country so beautiful on social media, the couple decided to take a photo hunting trip. When we arrived, we saw that the restaurant had many young people waiting to take photos, so we happily waited for our turn, spreading patriotism together," Ms. Nga excitedly shared.

Ms. Mai Thi Ngoc Thu (District 3) emotionally said: "When I saw people hanging flags together, I knew the anniversary was coming, my family was eagerly waiting for April 30 to see the parade. Having lived here for decades, I know that Ho Chi Minh City has changed and developed a lot".

Along Le Duan Street (District 1), preparations for the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification are being urgently completed with stage and grandstand items.

According to the plan, the celebration will take place on the morning of April 30, with the highlight being a large-scale parade, parade and many other meaningful activities such as lantern fire, air force flights to celebrate and parade model cars of the National Flag, Party flag, and Fatherland flag.
