On the evening of March 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union held a program to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1930 - March 26, 2025). At the same time, the 2025 Ho Hao Hon Award was presented to 13 collectives with outstanding achievements and creativity in the activities of the Youth Union and the city's youth movement.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee said that with enthusiasm, creativity and a sense of responsibility, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City will continue to promote the glorious tradition, synthesizing the strength and intelligence of the youth. Thereby, contributing to the common development of the city and the country.
Mr. Ngo Minh Hai - Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City said that the era of national growth is opening up new opportunities and conditions for the city's youth for comprehensive development.
This requires each Youth Union institution to constantly innovate its organization, methods of operation and gathering models to be able to meet new development trends, meet the needs of young people, and truly be a companion and trusted friend of young people.
Mr. Hai emphasized that each Youth Union cadre is always a pioneer, exemplary, ready to accept tasks assigned by Party committees, authorities and people, especially the highest spirit in the policy of the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat on streamlining the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient.
Each union member and youth also constantly improve their political courage and professional capacity to actively participate in the digital transformation process, mastering science and technology.
Also on the evening of March 23, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal awarded by the President for efforts in organizing and implementing summer volunteer campaigns of Ho Chi Minh City youth, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
The commemorative program is an opportunity for the city's youth to review the lessons of building and defending the country from previous generations, and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.
