On June 22, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) held the inauguration of Petrolimex Km329+700 rest stop, passing through Dong Son ward, Thanh Hoa province, on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway.
Attending the inauguration ceremony were representatives of leaders of the Ministry of Construction, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, central and local agencies.
According to the investor, Petrolimex Km329+700 rest stop is built on an area of 7.1ha, including two symmetrical service areas on both sides of the expressway. This is a type I rest stop - the highest level according to current standards, invested synchronously to meet the needs of people for rest, refueling and using essential services.
The rest stop includes items such as a parking lot of more than 12,000m2, a two-story service building, a fuel station, a vehicle maintenance area and a synchronous technical infrastructure, landscape and support utilities system.
In addition, the station is also equipped with an electric vehicle charging system with a scale of 20 positions on each side.
It is known that this is the first rest stop on the expressway through Thanh Hoa province to be inaugurated and put into operation.
The operation of the rest stop contributes to completing the service system on the North-South expressway, meeting the needs of resting and refueling; and at the same time improving traffic safety conditions for people and vehicles traveling on the route.
