On February 25, the People's Committee of Lao Bao commune, Quang Tri province confirmed that a ferocious bull rushed to attack two people in the area, causing them to be injured and hospitalized for treatment.
According to initial information, on the afternoon of March 24, a black buffalo, showing signs of aggression, appeared in the area of Bich La Dong village and Nai Cuu village (Lao Bao commune).
This buffalo attacked two people residing in Bich La Dong and Xi Nuc villages, causing injuries. After committing the crime, the buffalo ran into the gardens of nearby people.
Currently, border guards, police and military forces have been mobilized to monitor the situation and deploy plans to handle the buffalo to ensure safety for people.
Mr. Tran Anh Vu, Chairman of Lao Bao Commune People's Committee, said that the commune has identified this buffalo as belonging to a household in Xi Nuc village. Functional agencies are continuing to handle the case.
