On March 31, the Quang Tri Provincial Center for Disease Control said that the Department of Health had just organized a conference to announce the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the transfer and appointment of the Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control.
At the conference, Ms. Diep Thi Minh Quyet - Director of Quang Tri Provincial Department of Health, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Kim Thanh - Director of Quang Ninh Regional Health Center to hold the position of Director of Quang Tri Provincial Center for Disease Control.
Speaking to assign tasks, leaders of the Department of Health emphasized that this appointment shows the concern and trust of provincial leaders and the health sector, and is also a step to consolidate the organizational structure, meeting the increasing requirements in the field of preventive medicine.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Thanh is assessed as an official with practical experience, good moral qualities, management and administration capacity and high sense of responsibility, which has been verified in practical work.
In his new position, the leader of the Department of Health requested the new Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control to continue to promote the spirit of internal solidarity, build a democratic and disciplined working environment; improve the capacity to monitor, forecast and prevent and control epidemics; proactively respond to public health situations.

Before being appointed Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control, Mr. Thanh used to hold the positions of Deputy Director of Quang Ninh District Health Center; Director of Quang Ninh District Health Center; Director of Quang Ninh Regional Health Center.
