On the morning of March 31, at the First Session, Lai Chau Provincial People's Council, 16th term, 2026-2031, elected the titles of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Heads of Committees of the Provincial People's Council.
Mr. Le Minh Ngan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee was trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the 16th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
Ms. Tan Thi Que was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairwoman of the 16th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.
Mr. Duong Quoc Hoan was elected to hold the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee; Mr. Dao Xuan Huyen was elected to hold the position of Head of the Culture - Society Committee; Mr. Le Thanh Hai was elected to hold the position of Head of the Legal Affairs Committee; Ms. Dong Thi Nghia was elected to hold the position of Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Minh Ngan affirmed that the trust of the delegates is a great honor, pride, and also a great responsibility.
Mr. Le Minh Ngan said that the province still has many communes and villages that are particularly difficult, infrastructure is not synchronized, and the economic scale is small. However, with the tradition of solidarity, it will be the basis to bring Lai Chau into a new stage of development.
