On December 14, according to information from Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation ( VATM), the Aviation NewsNotification Center has officially activated the plan to provide flight procedure and aviation newsNutification (ARO/AIS) services at Long Thanh airport.
According to VATM, to effectively serve the first phase of operation, the Aviation NewsNformation Center has mobilized personnel from the ARO/AIS Tan Son Nhat Center, with solid professional qualifications, who have been trained through practical operations in high flight density areas.
The duty schedule at Long Thanh airport is arranged 24/24 hours during the peak period. The team is divided scientifically according to international time to ensure that the reception and processing of information takes place continuously, without interruption.
The process of providing flight procedure services is standardized with control steps to ensure the accuracy of flight data; Aviation Information Information Administration (AIS) focuses on providing complete necessary data to support the crew in planning and performing flights safely.
With careful preparation in procedures and human resources, the Aviation News Center is ready to carry out its mission at Long Thanh airport. Ensuring accurate and timely aviation information flows is an important factor, contributing to the overall success of technical flights and towards the official exploitation phase of the project.
Technical flights at Long Thanh airport are expected to take place from December 15-19. The flights are expected to use Boeing 787 and A350.
Flights on December 15 will depart from Tan Son Nhat airport to Long Thanh airport, then return to Tan Son Nhat, with an estimated flight time of about 40 minutes.
The technical flight on December 19 is expected to depart from Noi Bai airport to Long Thanh airport, using large Boeing aircraft.
