In particular, focusing on completing key items such as runway No. 1, taxiway - aircraft parking lot, installing passenger terminal equipment.
With runway No. 1, the contractor is focusing on completing the drainage ditches, preventing slides, examining the expansion joints, painting the lines, and general cleaning.
On the evening of December 11, the entire flight light system and signs at runway No. 1 were successfully operated and operated stably. This is a lighting system that meets CAT II standards of ICAO (international Civil Aviation Organization).
The system is installed along the 4 km length of the runway, landing line 1 and 1.8 km of the approach area at both ends of the runway (each end is 900 m long). At the same time, the airspace medium-voltage was energized to supply the accurate runway system (ILS/DME) and the automatic meteorological monitoring system (AWOS).

At Long Thanh airport's passenger terminal, the construction and installation of glass walls and steel structures have been basically completed; equipment is being urgently installed. With the cable-stayed pipeline system, 26 sets of cable-stayed pipes (the entire terminal has 64 sets) have been transported to the construction site, and 16 sets are being installed.
The luggage screening equipment system has transported 53/57 checked baggage screening equipment and 145/256 hand-carried baggage screening equipment to the construction site; security screening machines and screening equipment are being installed.
The aircraft mooring system has transported 100 sets of VDGS (nearly 80%) to the construction site. The contractor is urgently constructing beams and installing equipment at many Gate locations ( gates). At the same time, speed up the installation and completion of the luggage handling system; escalators, pedestrian elevators; elevators.
The aircraft parking lot has completed the drainage system and tunnel for ground clearance equipment; basically completed the ground structure, and constructed a layer of cement concrete.
On the connecting traffic route, the contractor is rushing to plant trees, install lighting systems, and signs.
The Long Thanh International Airport Project Management Board has also deployed the work of connecting and energizing the Energy Center - a key item in providing electricity to all passenger terminals. The successful connection and energization not only creates conditions for testing and testing of electrical and technical systems, but is also an important preparation step to synchronously deploy items in the final stage.
Currently, items at Long Thanh airport such as: Inland traffic and technical infrastructure; fuel supply system; 2nd runway; installation and supply of airport management system equipment contractors are also speeding up construction, ensuring the synchronous completion of all items at Long Thanh airport in the first half of 2026.
