On December 17, social networks shared a clip of a traffic accident that occurred on To Ky Street (District 12).
The clip shows two women walking hand in hand across the street at a crosswalk.
While traveling, a woman was hit by a motorbike carrying pork driven by a man.
The force of the collision was so strong that the victim was thrown more than 2 meters away, lying motionless on the road. Notably, after the incident, the man driving the motorbike fled the scene.
Through verification, the incident occurred on To Ky Street, opposite Quang Trung Software Park, in Trung My Tay Ward (District 12). The injured victim was named L. (50 years old), a female bus attendant.
Confirming with reporters, a representative of SaigonBus said that the incident happened yesterday afternoon (December 16). While Ms. L. and a female intern were buying lunch, the incident happened.
“Ms. L. suffered multiple injuries and is currently being treated at Military Hospital 175. The company and her family have reported the incident to the local police for handling and searching for the motorcyclist who caused the traffic collision and fled the scene,” the representative informed.
