At the same time, one-way traffic is organized for cars on Nguyen Trai street in the direction from Le Thanh Tong to Lac Vien intersection; one-way on Le Lai street in the direction from May To to Le Thanh Tong. Tran Khanh Du street (section from Vo Thi Sau to Le Thanh Tong) is organized for two-way traffic.
During the construction period, traffic participants are advised to choose a suitable route, comply with the sign system and instructions of functional forces at the scene.
The Department of Construction requests the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to fully arrange signs, barriers, guidance forces, ensuring traffic safety and construction progress. Traffic police and local authorities coordinate to regulate and handle violations according to regulations.
The project to invest in the construction of Nguyen Trai bridge and urban embellishment in the surrounding area is a key project of the city in 2024, belonging to group A, special-class traffic works with a total investment of more than 6, 235 billion VND.
The project has a construction scale of Nguyen Trai bridge including 4 lanes for motorized vehicles, designed as a cable-stayed bridge, the bridge section is nearly 1,500 m long, the middle span is 300 m wide, the widest compared to bridges in Hai Phong, 2 towers are 111m high, forming 2 sails reaching out to sea, expressing the city's aspiration to reach out to the open sea. The intersection connecting to Le Thanh Tong street has modern architecture; expanding Nguyen Trai street from 18 m to 50.5 m, connecting with Le Hong Phong street and Cat Bi International Airport. Nguyen Trai bridge after completion will be the 6th bridge of the city across the Cam River, after Binh bridge, Kien bridge, Hoang Van Thu bridge, Bach Dang bridge and May Chai bridge.
