Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just issued Regulations on compensation and support for houses and works serving daily life located in the safety protection corridor of high-voltage air power lines in the province.
According to regulations, houses and works serving the daily life of households and individuals do not have to be relocated out of the safety protection corridor of high-voltage power lines that do not have voltage up to 220 kV, but are limited in usability, affecting daily life, will be compensated and supported once.
Specifically, for houses and works serving daily life with a part or the entire area located in the safety protection corridor of power lines, built on land that meets the conditions for land compensation according to the provisions of land law and formed before the time of land recovery notice from competent authorities, the owner is entitled to compensation and support for the area located in the safety corridor.
The level of compensation and support in this case is determined to be 70% of the value of the residential area and works serving daily life located in the safety protection corridor of power lines, calculated according to the new construction unit price of residential areas and works with equivalent technical standards issued by the Provincial People's Committee.
For houses and works serving daily life built on land that does not meet the conditions for land compensation, according to the provisions of land law, the owner is supported at a rate equal to 35% of the value of the house and works located in the safety protection corridor of high-voltage power lines in the air, also based on the new construction unit price prescribed by the Provincial People's Committee.
This regulation aims to ensure the legitimate rights of people, and at the same time create a unified legal basis in resolving compensation and support for cases of houses and residential works affected by the high-voltage power grid safety corridor in the area.
The decision officially takes effect from January 10, 2026.
