On July 25, the People's Committee of Phan Thiet Ward coordinated with Lam Dong Provincial Police to solemnly organize the "All-people festival to protect national security" in 2025.
This is an activity in a series of events to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day 2.9; 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and 20th Anniversary of "All People's Day for National Security Protection" (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
Attending and directing the Festival were Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga.
Speaking at the opening of the Festival, Mr. Nguyen Van Tam, Secretary of the Phan Thiet Ward Party Committee, said that over the past 20 years, the "National Day for National Security Protection" in the locality has been constantly innovated in content, form and improved in quality. The festival has created a spread and attracted a large number of people to participate.
This is not only an occasion for mass gathering but also a time to commend the forces participating in crime prevention and control and social evils, Mr. Nguyen Van Tam emphasized.
Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, Phan Thiet ward investigated and clarified 24/24 cases of crimes related to social order; successfully mediated 17 cases of conflicts within the people; eliminated 12 gambling den; organized over 900 armed patrols to prevent crimes...
The ward has built and maintained 10 effective crime prevention and control models. The propaganda work and launching of the movement to protect national security have been strongly and appropriately innovated.
Speaking at the Festival, Central Party Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga said that Phan Thiet is a locality with an outstanding socio-economic development situation in Lam Dong province. The movement of the entire people to protect national security has been effectively promoted.
"Over the past year, the Party Committee, government and people have always been united, joined hands, unanimously, built and developed Phan Thiet ward in all aspects. This is also a ward trusted by the Central Government and chosen to organize the "point" of the National Day for National Security Protection in 2025," Ms. Ha Thi Nga emphasized.
Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga also highly appreciated the core advisory role of the Lam Dong Provincial Police force.
The unit has been very active, proactive, creative, and has many new ways to advise on many major plans with focus and key points, achieving high efficiency in building a movement of the entire people to protect national security.
In the coming time, Ms. Ha Thi Nga suggested that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee continue to strictly direct the implementation of the Party and State's policies on ensuring security and order and building a movement for the entire people to protect the Fatherland, associated with the responsibility of the head.
Units need to promote legal dissemination, raise people's awareness, organize the National Day practically and effectively, associated with socio-economic development, and at the same time commend prestigious people and advanced models.
On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga presented gifts to the Party Committee, People's Committee of Phan Thiet Ward and typical individuals in the movement of the entire people to protect national security.
Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of the entire people protecting security and order have been awarded certificates of merit, certificates of merit and commemorative medals by the Minister of Public Security and the Provincial Police.
Also at the program, 20 poor students overcoming difficulties were also awarded scholarships.
