To limit accidents on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, Lam Dong province proposed that the Ministry of Public Security direct the Traffic Police Department to further strengthen the inspection of vehicle speed on the expressway, especially at night for sleeper buses. The unit must also strengthen the handling of cases of illegal stopping and parking on the expressway.
The province also suggested that the Ministry of Public Security pay attention to investing in camera systems along the entire route to monitor vehicles and propose timely measures to handle incidents.

For the Ministry of Construction, Lam Dong province proposed to pay attention to investing in continuous emergency lanes on the entire 100km Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway.
The Ministry of Construction directs the Department of Roads to inspect and review the traffic safety system and the shortcomings, limitations and inadequacies on the above expressway, and must have timely solutions.
Previously, Lao Dong reported that late on July 8, passenger car 85F - 000.37 traveling on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway until km220 was suspected of having a flat tire, so it stopped in the lane.
The driver and the bus assistant went down to check the incident and before they could set up a warning, a passenger bus with license plate 78F - 002.64 traveling in the same direction from behind rushed in, hitting 3 people, killing them and injuring many others.
The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway Management Board said that the investor is implementing the construction of the Smart Traffic Monitoring Center (TS). Along this expressway, 53 cameras will be installed and all intersections will be covered to monitor traffic on the expressway.
