The project to invest in building main roads connecting with functional areas in Thai Binh Economic Zone (Hung Yen province) includes 5 routes with a total investment of more than 3,000 billion VND. In which, route No. 3 has a length of more than 13km, playing an important role in completing transport infrastructure in coastal areas and creating motivation to attract investment.
Site clearance (GPMB) has completed more than 96% of the total length of the route, many bottlenecks have been gradually focused on by localities, and at the same time, the volume of construction and installation has reached nearly 75% of the contract value. However, the project completion progress still depends on definitively handling the remaining bottlenecks at the intersection of road 221A through Hung Phu commune. When this "bottleneck" is removed, the project will have conditions to accelerate construction and soon complete the key traffic route connecting functional areas in the Economic Zone.

To remove difficulties, from June 4 to July 3, 2026, Hung Phu Commune People's Committee will deploy a peak period of propaganda and mobilization for people in the Nga 6 intersection area (old Nam Hung intersection). Three working groups have been established, directly going to each household to explain compensation, support, resettlement policies and listen to recommendations arising during the implementation process.
Leaders of Hung Phu Commune People's Committee - said that after a period of mobilization and propaganda, people agreed, the locality proceeded to hand over resettlement land, households received land and deployed housing construction in the resettlement area. Recently, on July 23, Hung Phu Commune People's Committee organized the payment of compensation and site clearance support to implement the project, the total amount paid this time is 193 billion VND.
And in Nam Tien Hai commune, where the road passes through with a length of about 6.7km, site clearance work is having many positive changes. In the commune, the entire area of agricultural land and 8 households with residential land in the section passing through Nam Hong commune (old) have completed site clearance and handed it over to the investor for construction deployment.
For the section passing through Nam Hai commune (old), the project has 70 households subject to site clearance. Up to now, the locality has approved compensation plans for 69 households, of which 68 households have received money and handed over land. Currently, only 2 cases related to the scope of branch road expansion at the intersection are continuing to be mobilized and completing plans according to regulations.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Vu Van Toan - Vice Chairman of Nam Tien Hai Commune People's Committee - said that in the coming time, to complete the task of site clearance for projects in the area, for the remaining 2 households subject to branch road and intersection expansion, the Commune People's Committee will continue to propagate and mobilize. For the intersection between road No. 3 and DH30 road, it is proposed that the investor deploy construction immediately when there is land.
