The inter-regional road project connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province (now Lao Cai province) - has a total adjusted investment of 2,120 billion VND.
The project started on December 14, 2021, building a main route more than 53.5km long through old districts of Phu Tho province such as: Tam Nong, Cam Khe, Ha Hoa - with a design according to the scale of a grade III mountain road, design speed of 60 km/h.
Along with the extended inter-regional road and the branch connecting Cam Khe industrial park, more than 2km of the main route (section Km0 - Km2+452) in Van Xuan commune has also been completed.
As Lao Dong newspaper has reported, Van Xuan commune has invested 120 billion VND for the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 315 connecting National Highway 32C with the inter-regional road.
From the end of January 2026, Package No. 07: Construction of the project has completed the contractor selection and started construction (winning bid price of more than 94.6 billion VND).
According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper in mid-August, after about half a year of construction, it can be initially seen that provincial road 315 will be significantly expanded.
Currently, the contractor is mobilizing a lot of manpower and vehicles to excavate and reclaim the roadbed, the horizontal/vertical drainage system, and gather raw materials...
It can be seen that the renovated and upgraded section passes through the fields and densely populated residential areas of Lam Son commune, former Tam Nong district, through the current Van Xuan Commune People's Committee headquarters.
With a large number of vehicles circulating, especially during the initial period when the main inter-regional road section was not completed, provincial road 315 previously had many locations that were degraded: Asphalt road surface peeling off, many potholes, craters, sidewalks deformed...
According to project documents, the renovated and upgraded section has a total length of 4.63km, starting point at Km22+470 provincial road 315, My Van High School location; ending point at the Km27+100 intersection of provincial road 315 connecting to the inter-regional road at Km2+460.
The road being renovated and upgraded will have a roadbed width of 15m, of which the roadbed width is 11m, including 10.5m of road surface for vehicles (asphalt concrete paved), beltway width of 0.25m on each side, sidewalk width of 2m on each side... The design speed of the route section is 40km/h.
In addition, the bidding package will also construct sidewalk systems, lighting, drainage, intersections, curbs; synchronous traffic safety systems according to usage requirements.
According to a leader of Van Xuan Commune Public Service Center (the investor), the contractor is focusing on excavating and filling the roadbed and drainage system on the route, and so far the actual volume has reached about 40%.
The project is being constructed on schedule. The contract implementation period is 360 days, but the contractor strives to complete the project before the Lunar New Year this year" - the leader of Van Xuan Commune Public Service Center informed.
