The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Decision No. 44/2025/QD-UBND to abolish all 42 Decisions of the Provincial People's Committee related to the following areas:
Organize specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; IT; support vocational training; Regulations on recruiting civil servants of communes, wards and towns; public investment management; assignment and decentralization of construction investment project management; regulations on fire prevention and fighting safety for individual houses and houses combined with business and production; assignment and decentralization of state management of food safety in the province.
Stipulate the list of standards and equipment norms for the Police of Bac Ninh commune and town; Regulations on the regime of awards and rewards at the Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Contest, Regulations on supporting the implementation of cremation and burial of dead in Bac Ninh province; Regulations on applying economic and technical norms for the production of radio and television programs using the state budget in Bac Ninh province, Regulations on management of the implementation of power development planning in Bac Ninh province...
The decision takes effect from June 30, 2025.
Also on June 30, it is expected to announce the National Assembly's Resolution on the establishment of the new Bac Ninh province (merging Bac Ninh and Bac Giang), and at the same time launch the administrative apparatus of the new Bac Ninh province.
The new Bac Ninh province (after merging Bac Ninh and Bac Giang) has a natural area of 4,718.6 km2, a population of 3,619,433 people, and the economic scale (GRDP) ranks 5th in the country.
The newly established Bac Ninh province borders Hung Yen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen provinces, Hai Phong city and Hanoi city.
