The People's Committee of Bac Giang province has just issued a Plan to implement Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units.
The purpose of the Plan is to clearly identify the content and tasks of each relevant agency and unit in the political system to proactively implement tasks to ensure regulations and suitability with the actual situation in the locality.
Prepare well the conditions for arranging the organization of the apparatus, personnel, facilities, and working equipment to ensure that agencies in the provincial political system operate smoothly, efficiently, effectively, and efficiently.
In particular, clearly identify 34 groups of tasks and implementation time assigned to agencies, organizations and units according to the functions and tasks of the industry to preside over or coordinate in advising on the implementation of Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15.
Notably, the review, adjustment and supplementation of administrative procedures and control of administrative procedures at all levels are being implemented synchronously.
Develop a Project to reorganize specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province through the People's Committee and People's Council of Bac Ninh province; Develop a dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Council to abolish special policies; Develop a new special policy to be applied in Bac Ninh province after the reorganization.
Review, engrave new seals and revoke old seals of agencies, organizations and units to ensure smooth operation of agencies in the political system; Guide and implement accommodation, population, and citizen identification cards, to be completed before July 1, 2025.
Announcing the Resolution of the National Assembly and launching the administrative apparatus of Bac Ninh province, expected on June 30, 2025.
Develop a dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Council to abolish the special policy; develop a new special policy to be applied in Bac Ninh province after the arrangement, to be completed before September 1, 2025.
Instructions for converting residential groups into villages or converting villages into residential groups; neighborhoods, to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
New documents and maps of administrative boundaries; edit of administrative maps of Bac Ninh province and new commune-level administrative maps, to be completed before June 30, 2026.
The organization and implementation of Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 must ensure seriousness and compliance with Party regulations, State laws and Central guidance; ensure conditions for the smooth and continuous operation of the political system; not affecting the lives of people, production and business activities of individuals, organizations and enterprises in the area.
The new Bac Ninh province (after the merger between Bac Ninh and Bac Giang) has a natural area of 4,718.6 km2 and a population of 3,619,433 people. The newly established Bac Ninh province borders Hung Yen, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen provinces, Hai Phong city and Hanoi city.
