By more than 11:30 am on April 10, the scene of the collision between the container truck and the 7-seater car had been cleared, but due to the large number of vehicles left over and the high density of vehicles pouring into Cat Lai port, the congestion situation still lasted. Many drivers said they had spent more than 2 hours still not passing Phu Huu bridge section.

Previously, at about 6 am on the same day, a container truck was traveling on Vo Chi Cong street, heading from Phu Huu roundabout to the High-Tech Park. While going up Phu Huu bridge, this vehicle collided with a 7-seater car.
At the scene, part of the container leaned sideways, pressing on the front of the 7-seater car, causing this vehicle to be deformed and heavily damaged. Fortunately, the accident did not cause any casualties, but caused the driver and passengers to panic.

Because two cars were lying across the lane on Ring Road 2 - the artery connecting the High-Tech Park, Vo Nguyen Giap street and Phu My bridge - traffic through the area immediately fell into a congested situation.
At the scene, a line of trucks and container trucks stretched more than 3 km on Vo Chi Cong street. Currently, the cause of the traffic collision is being investigated and clarified.
