At around 9:15 a.m. on December 5, on the western bypass, through Ea Tam ward, Buon Ma Thuot city, an accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike, causing the tragic death of a couple.
According to initial information, at that time, the truck with license plate 47H-010.64 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling on the western bypass of Buon Ma Thuot city in the direction from Dak Lak to Dak Nong.
When the truck arrived at the above location, an accident suddenly occurred with a motorbike with license plate 47H1-377.53 driven by Mr. Y.K.B (51 years old, residing in Cu Sue commune, Cu M'gar district) carrying his wife, Mrs. H.J.E (47 years old), traveling in the same direction as the car in front.
When Mr. B was turning left on the road, he was hit by a truck. The couple were then thrown onto the road and injured, and were taken to the emergency room by local people.
However, due to severe injuries, the husband died at the hospital, and the wife later also passed away.
At the scene, the motorbike was stuck to the front of the truck, the vehicle was damaged. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the authorities.
