The traffic accident occurred at 10 p.m. on December 22 at the intersection between National Highway 8A and the entrance to Dien Chau - Bai Vot Expressway in Thanh Binh Thinh Commune, Duc Tho District.
At that time, a truck with license plate 89F-005.xx driven by Hoang Van L (50 years old, residing in Thanh Long commune, Yen My district, Hung Yen province) was traveling on National Highway 8A from Hong Linh town to Duc Tho district.
When the truck reached the intersection between National Highway 8A and the access road to Dien Chau - Bai Vot Expressway, driver L changed direction to enter the expressway and collided with a motorbike with license plate 38D1-245.xx traveling on National Highway 8A in the direction from Duc Tho district to Hong Linh town.
The accident killed two people on the motorbike with license plate 38D1-245.xx, Nguyen Van T. (born in 1992) and Nguyen Tuan N (born in 1998), both residing in Quang Vinh commune, Duc Tho district.
After the accident, the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Police coordinated with Duc Tho District Police to arrive at the scene to investigate and clarify the cause.
