After the merger of commune-level administrative units at the end of 2024, Nhat Tien commune, Cam Khe district was officially established on the basis of merging 3 communes: Chuong Xa, Phu Lac, Van Khuc. The center of the new Nhat Tien commune is located in Chuong Xa commune.
Previously, Chuong Xa commune (now Nhat Tien commune, Cam Khe district) has invested in many projects to upgrade transport infrastructure. Among them, it is necessary to mention the project to renovate and upgrade rural traffic routes in the Xom Chua - Dong Ram - Quyet Thang inter-zone, Chuong Xa commune - with a total investment of nearly 8 billion VND.
At the end of October 2024, many households in Nhat Tien commune voluntarily demolished gates, fences, architectural objects... to serve site clearance and hand over land for the above project to be implemented.
Returning to Quyet Thang area, Nhat Tien commune in early March, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded that the places that were once littered with bricks, concrete, and trees after demolishing the architectural objects now have a new, more spacious and cleaner appearance.
Mr. Pham Van Suu's household (Quyet Thang area) once demolished 36 m including gate, fence and a row of dragon fruit trees within the road construction area. After more than 5 months, Mr. Suu's family has completed the gate and the new fence adjacent to the newly poured concrete road, the surrounding view is more spacious and airy than before.
Meeting reporters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tien (Quyet Thang area) recounted that she has 5 children and all 5 people have houses adjacent to the new concrete road, all of which are subject to site clearance. After being propagandized and encouraged, her family agreed to demolish all gates and fences over a length of more than 40 m for the project to be implemented.
"5 of my children are working far away, only 2 of them are living here. After the authorities came to propagate, I encouraged and advised the children to agree to demolish the gates and fences, and rebuild the road when the concrete is finished. I think, I have suffered a little, but in return, the village now has a new, more spacious and clean road, the people are still the beneficiaries" - Ms. Tien shared.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Trinh Tien Hau - Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects in Cam Khe district - said that with the project to renovate and upgrade rural traffic routes in the Xom Chua - Dong Lam - Quyet Thang inter-zone area, Chuong Xa commune, affected households have agreed, created conditions, actively coordinated with the government, project management units and contractors during the implementation process.
"The good implementation of site clearance has helped the project save time, costs, ensure progress and quality of the project... Up to now, the project implementation volume has reached over 80%, currently there are only a few electric poles waiting to be moved and a branch road section is preparing to pour cement concrete and will be completed" - Mr. Hau shared.
