Building a fence for Long Thanh airport with a scope of 5,000 hectares

    Dong Nai - On November 3, Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) announced that it had started construction of the 5,000-hectare fence of Long Thanh airport (package 2.10).

    ACV said it started construction of the fence project on October 25, 2024, with a construction period of 360 days to complete on October 25, 2025.

    Currently, construction units are urgently deploying the work of gathering materials, equipment and camps to carry out construction according to the contract schedule.

    Previously, the fence within the 1,810 ha area of ​​phase 1 of Long Thanh airport (package 2.4) was 100% completed with a length of 7,856 m.

    Up to now, in clearing the 5,000-hectare fence of Long Thanh airport, ACV has received 21.78/21.89 km (99.5%), the remaining 100 m (0.05%) has not been handed over.

    Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has proposed to soon complete the construction of protective fences for the entire 5,000-hectare area of ​​Long Thanh airport project.

    The solution is to build a fence around the Long Thanh airport project to prevent re-encroachment after clearing the land.
