As Lao Dong Newspaper reported, at about 5:30 pm on July 18, Mr. B.V. V. - a worker of Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd., residing in Truong Giang village, Thach Quang commune - was repairing the electrical system in the fertilizer filter tank area when he was electrocuted, fell into the pit and showed signs of suffocation.
Discovering the incident, many workers present nearby went down to rescue. However, these people later also showed signs of suffocation.
A total of 7 workers were injured. The victims were then taken to Cam Thuy General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, by dawn on July 19, 3 people had died and 4 injured people were being treated and treated at the hospital.
Among the 4 injured victims, 2 people in serious condition died on the morning of July 19. The remaining two are still being treated and treated at the hospital.

The pig breeding and commercial pig farming project of Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd., under Dabaco Vietnam Group, has a total investment of 773 billion VND. The project has a scale of raising 5,600 sows, providing more than 158,000 live pigs each year.
The project was approved for investment policy by Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee in 2021, with an area of more than 50ha. By October 2022, the company began importing pigs for raising.
