On the evening of November 18, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, the unit has issued a fine for the truck driver who dropped mud on the road, causing traffic insecurity on Ton Duc Thang Street.
Accordingly, the authorities determined that the driver of the truck was Mr. N.H.N (born in 1988, residing in Yen So ward, Hoang Mai district). On November 18, Mr. N was invited to work at the police headquarters.
At the police station, Mr. N confessed that on the evening of November 16, he drove a truck with license plate 29C-907xx carrying mud through the above area.
Due to the mud, when it reached the crab, the mud fell onto the road. Because it was dark, Mr. N did not discover it. At the meeting, the representative of the transport enterprise also said that as soon as the notice was received, the unit proactively sent forces to the scene to fix the problem.

Based on the verification results, Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 has drawn up an administrative violation record for Mr. N for driving a vehicle carrying soil and mud to dump on the road, causing unsafe traffic.
According to the provisions of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, this behavior is subject to a fine of 2 - 4 million VND.


Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, late on the evening of November 16, at the Ton Duc Thang - Nguyen Thai Hoc intersection, the road surface was covered with mud and mud. At the scene, many people and vehicles were covered with mud, clothes, and vehicles.
According to some witnesses, at that time, they saw a truck turning into an intersection, dumping a large amount of mud onto the road. Due to not being able to handle the situation in time, many people fell onto the road.
Receiving the report, the Command Committee of the Hanoi Traffic Police Department directed the Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 to quickly arrive at the scene, coordinate with the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Police to ensure traffic safety, and promptly verify, search and handle the violating vehicle.
At the scene, the working group recorded many mud and dirt scattered on the road, posing a potential risk of causing accidents for road users.
Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 organized instructions, diverted vehicles and coordinated with functional units to clear mud and soil; at the same time, reviewed and searched for the vehicle that caused the incident.
