The Commander of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department, Hanoi Police) said that the unit is coordinating with Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Police to search for a truck that dumped mud on Ton Duc Thang Street.
Earlier, late on November 16, at the Ton Duc Thang - Nguyen Thai Hoc intersection, the road surface was covered with mud and mud. At the scene, many people and vehicles were covered with mud, clothes, and vehicles.
According to some witnesses, at that time, they saw a truck turning into an intersection, dumping a large amount of mud onto the road. Due to not being able to handle the situation in time, many people fell onto the road.
As soon as the information was received, the authorities were present to direct traffic and guide people to move to avoid unfortunate incidents.




After the incident, many information appeared on social networks saying that this was the amount of mud generated during the construction of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station Metro project (underground section).
However, on the morning of November 17, the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board (MRB) informed confirmation that the above incident is not within the scope of construction and is not related to the DSDT Line 3.1 Project, Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station section.
"The area where mud appeared was near the Ton Duc Thang - Nguyen Thai Hoc intersection, in the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam flower garden area. This is not the tunnel construction location or site of the Construction Investment Project No. 3.1," MrB informed.
At the same time, MRB affirmed that the above amount of mud did not originate from the project site.
