Information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Hanoi City Police, continuing to implement the order of Major General Do Thanh Binh - Director of the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security, the city's traffic police force continues to strengthen the handling of alcohol concentration on traffic routes.
In the evening and night of October 19, working groups of the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police discovered a series of violations, in which many drivers gave the reason to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
For example, Mr. T.T.T (born in 1987) was discovered by a working group of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 violating the alcohol concentration of 0.124 mg/L of breath.
Working with the authorities, the male driver admitted to drinking a little beer while taking his wife and children to a Vietnamese Women's Day party on October 20. Unexpectedly, that subjectivity led to him being discovered and punished by the traffic police.
For the same reason, Mr. D.T.T (born in 1989, residing in Hanoi) violated the alcohol concentration at 0.066 mg/L of breath. At that time, Mr. T was carrying both his child and his wife behind him.
Mr. T said that he himself drank beer but because he was carrying a small child, he thought the traffic police would not check.

At the inspection site of the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 on Tan Xuan Street (Dong Ngac Ward), the authorities discovered female driver P.T.L (residing in Hai Phong City) violating alcohol concentration at 0.081 mg/L of breath.
Presenting to the working group, Ms. L said that because it was her birthday and the Vietnamese Women's Day celebration, she drank beer and drove home in a car.
For the above violation, Ms. L was fined from 6 to 8 million VND and had 4 points deducted from her driving license.

According to the Traffic Police, on the occasion of "Vietnamese Women's Day October 20", party and meeting activities at agencies and units have increased, leading to the risk of drivers having alcohol and beer. To prevent traffic accidents, the police have proactively increased inspection teams and handled alcohol concentration violations.
On the evening and night of October 19 alone, Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 established 7 working groups to check alcohol concentration on the routes managed by this unit, thereby detecting and handling more than 40 violations.
The launch of a thematic inspection of alcohol concentration with the national force demonstrates the determination of the capital's traffic police force in strictly implementing the Law on Prevention and Control of Alcohol and Beer Harm; contributing to preventing and reducing traffic accidents, building a safe traffic culture.
