On March 6, the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Organisms (under the Kon Ka Kinh National Park Management Board) coordinated with the Ayun commune government, forest rangers and Ayun commune police to release 17 forest animals that met the conditions to return to their natural environment.

Among these are many wildlife species on the list of rare and protected species such as: small culi, golden mountain turtle, Java pangolin, pig-tailed macaque, red-faced macaque...

Recently, the unit has received many wild animal individuals voluntarily handed over by people, including some species on the list of endangered, precious and rare species that need to be strictly protected.
Recently, people in localities such as Duc Co, Cuu An, Ayun Pa, Ia Lau... have handed over many monkeys, turtles, and pythons to functional agencies for care and restoration of behavior before releasing them back to the forest.
The self-conscious actions of the people show that community awareness of biodiversity conservation is increasingly being raised.

After receiving them, Kon Ka Kinh National Park conducts health checks, species classification, establishes management records and brings the individuals back to the semi-wild area to restore their survival ability. Sufficient individuals will be released back into the forest in the strictly protected areas of the National Park.
