On October 8, Kon Ka Kinh National Park said that since the beginning of 2025, individuals and organizations in the area have voluntarily handed over many endangered and rare wild animals for care and release back into the natural environment.
The Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Life (under Kon Ka Kinh National Park) has received 38 wild, endangered, and rare animals voluntarily donated by people and organizations.
Of which, the most are species such as pig-tailed monkeys, Java pangolins, rare turtles... After receiving them, the Center cared for and raised endangered and rare wild animals to ensure good health and released 35 individuals back to the natural environment.
Recently, when the leaders of Gia Lai province organized a working group to visit and work at Kon Ka Kinh National Park, the delegation recognized great potential in the work of preserving and developing eco-tourism, adventure tourism, and discovery of the garden.
In October 2025, Gia Lai province agreed in principle, agreeing to assign the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board as the project preparation agency, to prepare a report proposing the project investment policy "Upgrading the route from National Highway 19 to Ayun commune, Kon Ka Kinh National Park".
During the process of preparing investment proposal reports, it is necessary to study and calculate reasonably in a practical direction, avoiding wasting investment capital.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to organize appraisal of reports on project investment proposals, and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision in accordance with the provisions of the law on public investment.
The upgrading of the route will facilitate people, tourists and forest protection forces in moving to and from the National Park.
