On December 2, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the unit had just held a working session on the issue of unifying the planning location of land for the construction of commune and town police headquarters in the area. Attending the working session were representatives of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Construction, representatives of People's Committees and Police of districts and towns in the area.
According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, in 2024, the Provincial People's Council issued a Resolution on the investment policy for the project to build 68 working headquarters of commune and town police in 19 districts and towns in the province.
After the above policy, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with the People's Committees of districts and towns to review, inspect, and prepare project dossiers for construction land locations; at the same time, they asked for opinions and evaluation from relevant departments, branches, and districts and towns with land locations for headquarters construction.
Through inspection and review of districts and towns, it is shown that there are still some inappropriate locations, such as: not suitable with the general construction planning; locations with land boundary coordinates overlapping with other construction planning that need to be adjusted; need to complete documents to submit to competent authorities to adjust the planning...
At the meeting, representatives of relevant sectors and localities frankly exchanged, discussed, evaluated and gave opinions and solutions to resolve current problems.

According to Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy - Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, recently, the unit has received attention from Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments and branches in creating land funds to build police headquarters in communes and towns according to policies and resolutions.
"With the current difficulties, it is recommended that the functional departments of the Provincial Police closely coordinate with relevant departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, towns, communes and towns with locations selected for headquarters construction to discuss, reach agreement and have timely handling and resolution measures" - Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Nguyen Quang Huy said.
