Trung Son commune is 1 of 2 commune-level administrative units of the old Phu Tho province that did not merge with other administrative units.
The whole commune has about 6,200 people, mainly Muong, Dao, Mong ethnic minorities... and is famous for its pristine natural landscape, typically the poetic Ngoi Gianh lake.
In early 2026, the new headquarters of the People's Committee - People's Council - Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Son commune was officially inaugurated after an urgent construction process due to the impact of landslides.
However, traffic in this commune is still difficult. Even in 2024, due to the impact of storm No. 3 Yagi, landslides occurred, completely isolating the road to Trung Son commune for many days.

The project to renovate and upgrade the road from Dong Mang area to Bop area, Trung Son commune was approved by the People's Committee of this commune for the economic - technical report for construction from June 5, 2026, according to Decision No. 284/QD-UBND.
This project belongs to Group C, with a total investment of 19.5 billion VND invested by the Trung Son Commune Public Service Center.
According to the reporter's investigation, on June 11, the Trung Son Commune Public Service Center issued a bidding invitation for "Package No. 06: Construction" of the project.
Package No. 06 belongs to the field of construction and installation, is widely bid through the network, with a price of more than 16.8 billion VND from the state budget and mobilizing other legal capital sources.
After having the contractor selection results for the above bidding package, the contractor will construct the renovation and upgrade of the road with a total length of more than 2.2km.

The road section is designed with a roadbed width of 5m, a road surface width of 4m made of 18cm thick cement concrete, below is a layer of crushed stone grade 12cm thick, sidewalks on each side 0.5m wide at locations with cement concrete grooves...
The bidding package will also construct a drainage system along the route, intersections are connected to suit the current situation, and the traffic safety system is designed synchronously.
The contractor's deadline for completing the package is 300 days.
The project is invested with the goal of serving people's travel needs, synchronously connecting with the existing transport infrastructure system in the area, strengthening trade, and promoting socio-economic development for the locality.
