On August 18, the Cat Lai Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) in coordination with Binh Trung Ward Police (formerly Thu Duc City) is verifying a video recording a group of people brazenly spreading nets to hit badminton in the middle of the road.
According to the image in the clip, when a car was moving through Road 60, Van Minh Residential Area (Binh Trung Ward), it had to slow down due to being blocked by a badminton net. At this time, about 5 people were playing badminton in the middle of the road.
When the driver reacted, the group of people thought that this was a residential area, so they had the right to spread nets to play. The controversy was tense, a man in the group even ran into the house and took out a sharp knife to threaten the driver.
The male driver (33 years old) said he went into the residential area to pick up passengers. Outraged by the above behavior, he recorded a video and posted it on social media to warn.
Currently, the authorities are inviting related people to work to clarify the incident.
