On April 9, Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security organized a launching ceremony to simultaneously build houses for people in difficult circumstances in the mountainous area of Thai Nguyen.
At the working session, representatives of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police reported on the results of implementing the work of removing temporary and dilapidated houses from funding sources, requesting support from the Ministry of Public Security.
Delegates also discussed solutions to remove difficulties and effectively implement the Project to support the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, with a number of 560 houses this time.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee Nong Quang Nhat emphasized that in order to effectively implement the construction of houses for people in difficult circumstances, Party committees and authorities of communes and wards need to identify this as a key and urgent task.
Localities need to focus on leadership and drastic direction; thoroughly review and approve to ensure the right subjects, not to let policies overlap.
According to the plan, 560 houses will be urgently built, striving to be completed and handed over before September 2.
Previously, phase 1 of the program had completed 440 units, contributing to helping hundreds of households stabilize their accommodation.
On this occasion, the program organizers presented gifts to a number of families in difficult circumstances, policy families, and donated STEAM classrooms to Cho Moi Elementary School.
